Sedgwick acquires construction claims firm DB Expertise in France
PARIS, 7 October 2024 – Sedgwick, a leading global provider of claims management, loss adjusting and technology-enabled business solutions, has acquired DB Expertise, a prominent French construction claims, civil liability and litigation management firm.
Headquartered in Paris, DB Expertise was founded in 2014 by Sylvain Dadure and Jérôme Brazilier, Pascal Perron being their third partner. The firm’s extensive experience in the construction industry includes managing claims in liability, technical and contractual analysis; examination of site claims or financial losses; and conducting complex negotiations based on in-depth expertise. They handle a wide range of construction specialties, such as geotechnics, foundation work, building structure, demolition, environmental issues, industrial processes, road construction, maintenance, asbestos removal, and water treatment processes.

DB Expertise’s highly accomplished leaders and loss adjusting experts covering liability and complex construction claims will join Sedgwick’s operations in France, which currently comprise over 1,000 colleagues across 38 offices. Their experience and resources enhance Sedgwick’s capacity to deliver a broad range of outstanding services to the French market. The addition also strategically positions Sedgwick to serve as a key partner to the construction industry’s insurance companies and their policyholders for major and complex losses.
